Digitization in clubs: data will be recorded once and reused

Nederlandse Postduivenhouders Organisatie (Hollanda Postduvancılar Örgütü, NPO) stresses that the goals of digitization are not to make work harder but to support it. According to the source, the basic principle is that data should be recorded correctly once wherever possible and then used where needed.

This approach aims to prevent duplicate data entry; it is intended that manual checks will be digitally supported in the future. That way the need to enter the same information multiple times and the workload of manual checks will decrease.

Clubs and basketing centers will remain important venues where races are organized and enthusiasts meet. The NPO says technology should assist the operation of these structures and support the clubs.

More detailed information and all publications about digitization are collected in the Bilgi Merkezi (Kenniscentrum) — Digitalisering section on the website. For missing information or questions, it is reported that the NPO's working group can be reached at info@duivensportbond.nl.
