PE Vlaams‑Brabant announced that the Jeugdclub (Youth Club) championship celebration will take place on 22 November 2026; the celebration for the district championships will be held on 28 November 2026 at ‘Waerboom’‑Dilbeek. Distribution of 2027 rings to clubs is planned for 29 December 2026.
Regarding the end of the season, clubs were strongly urged to upload all race results to the KBDB platform; clubs were asked to have their results entered in the system no later than 30 September. As of 1 October, provisional championship rankings will begin to be calculated, and provisional results are expected to be published on the KBDB website around mid‑October.
Adjustments were made to the Small Halve Fond (KHF) program: because the Angerville/Erceville points cannot be used, the program was updated as follows — 22 August Toury (as planned), 29 August Toury (instead of Angerville) and 5 September Melun (instead of Angerville). In addition, an extra KHF flight for PE Vlaams‑Brabant was scheduled; basketing for this flight, planned for 12 September, will take place on Thursday 10 September and the pigeons will be released under the usual in‑season arrangements. Sector allocation is indicated as Sector 1 separate, Sectors 2+3 released together.
On administrative and regulatory matters, PE Vlaams‑Brabant emphasized that the provisions of the Interprovinciaal Akkoord (IPA) dated 11 March 2026 were signed by both parties and will be applied as long as the agreement remains in force. PE reported that it filed a notification concerning violations at the Bourges national flight and has been waiting for a response for more than a week; the committee will closely follow developments and reserves its rights under the statute, regulations and agreements.
Corporate announcements include that the general assembly of PE Vlaams‑Brabant clubs will be held on 13 December 2026 at 10:00 at KBDB, Gaasbeeksesteenweg 52‑54, 1500 Halle; the National Day event will take place on 13 February 2027 in Kortrijk at the Fugare fair. Correspondence should be sent to KBDB, PE Vlaams‑Brabant, Gaasbeeksesteenweg 52‑54, 1500 Halle or to provincial secretary Eric Dubois (dubois.e@kbdb.be) or, if unavailable, provincial chairman Rudi Joossens (rudi_joossens@telenet.be). Orders (bands, rings, etc.) can be sent to admin@kbdb.be.
The committee also reported that random checks during basketing largely produced positive results; labeling and in‑cage counts were mostly correct and the committee thanked clubs for their cooperation. Clubs were asked to always include the association roll number and relevant information in official correspondence.
